Books Released by George R. R. Martin This August 2022

George R.R. Martin is a novelist, screenwriter, television producer, and short-story writer from the United States. He wrote the epic fantasy novels A Song of Ice and Fire, which were transformed into the Emmy Award-winning HBO series Game of Thrones (2011–2019). He also contributed to the Wild Cards anthology series and the worldbuilding for the 2022 video game Elden Ring. Martin briefly returned to book writing in 1991. He was angry that his TV pilots and screenplays were not being produced, and that production constraints like as budgets and episode durations were pushing him to remove people and reduce fight sequences. Martin was forced back into creating novels, where he didn't have to worry about sacrificing his creativity.

The following are George R.R. Martin's most recent works, which were published in August 2022:

1. Joker Moon: A Wild Cards Novel

We follow Aarti, the Moon Maid, who can astrally project herself onto the moon's surface and paint projections throughout the lunarscape in George R. R. Martin's latest Wild Cards adventure.

Theodorus is described as a dreamer in the narrative. He used to dream about flying, rockets, and the stars as a kid. His youthful aspirations were out of reach when the wild card virus infected him and turned him into a monster snail centaur weighing many tons, but a Witherspoon is not so simply vanquished. Theodorus reached adulthood and amassed wealth over the course of many years and decades yet his fantasy persisted. Instead of merely seeing the moon, he now noticed other stars in the night sky. He envisioned a joker country, a haven where the wild card's rejected offspring might establish themselves and be protected from hostility and destruction. A pipe dream, according to some. Afraid by the possibility, others mobilized all of their resources to fight back against him. Theodorus persevered, oblivious of the fact that the Moon was already populated. The Moon Maid also didn't want any company.
